High Speed Camera - Digital High Speed Video Camera Systems

The advertising spot "DHL-Hummingbird" produced with support of the high-speed camera SpeedCam Visario g2 has been awarded twice at the annual awards presentation of the Art Directors Club (ADC) in Berlin, Germany. The famous ad agency "Jung von Matt" and VFX producer Sascha Haber were responsible for concept and realization of the spot.

Like every year the best results of the German advertising industry has been awarded in Berlin. The Spot "DHL-Hummingbird" collected prizes in the categories TV-Spots and cinema advertising films. The brilliant idea and its perfect realization led to a silver place award in the class TV and the bronze award in the important category of Cinema .

The elegant hummingbird recorded in super slow motion was in the perfect focus throughout the whole clip. The sensational images of the complex stroke of wings were made possible due to the high frame capture rate and the impressive picture quality of the Weinberger high-speed camera.

The combination of the flawless raw data from the camera and the use of post production software "Fusion 5", allowed a fluent production process.

Director Nicolai Niemann said after the shooting: "The SpeedCam from Weinberger and the software selected from Mr. Haber allowed us to realize wonderful images within the available time."
